  • How long will it take to complete my project?

    All Fine Mess Studios projects are completed within 21 business days or less of receiving the deposit. Our business hours are Monday through Friday 10AM EST-5PM EST, not including US holidays. Additional project time, rush projects, or after hours work can be added for an additional fee.

  • How much should I expect to invest?

    Fine Mess Studios has been committed to giving clients the highest possible quality service for over 15 years. All web, mobile app, and creative direction projects begin at $3,500. All brand identity and digital media projects begin at $1,500. Your investment will be an essential asset to your brand in the future and we’re happy to be the ones to help you bring your vision to life.

  • What platforms do you work with?

    We’re experienced with many platforms such as Squarespace, Shopify, and Wordpress with our preferred platforms being Squarespace and Shopify. We’re Squarespace Certified Specialists and authorized Squarespace Trainers however, we’ve build many sites on different platforms. We currently offer custom website and e-commerce solutions on Squarespace, Wordpress, and Shopify. If you’re not sure which platform is best for you, we will also consult you on the best platform to build your website on if you’re not sure. You can book a consultation with us here.

  • What should I do before we start?

    Clients are responsible for purchasing their own hosting on the platform (Squarespace, Wix, Shopify, eHosting, etc.) they will be hosting their project on, their desired domain, and secure their desired social media handles (unless a brand identity package is purchased) prior to beginning on your project as well as the content for the website. If you wish to have content created for you, we provide copywriting for an additional fee. Clients are also responsible for providing any content they wish to have on their website within 5 business days of beginning your contract unless the content creation option is added onto your purchased package at the start of the project.

  • How do you accept payment + do you offer refunds?

    We accept all payments through our secure client portal which processes through HoneyBook. You will be sent your proposal and invoice via the portal once your project proposal is accepted and booked once your deposit is paid. There is a 50% non-refundable deposit required in order for work to begin on your project. The remaining balance will be due upon completion of the project unless it is a retainer project. Should you choose to no longer continue your project with Fine Mess Studios after your deposit is paid and work has begun, your deposit will not be refunded and there will be a $500 cancellation fee. If your project is completed, you will not be refunded. If you contracted a consultation, marketing, or creative direction project, you will not be given a refund once work has begun as these are monthly retainers.

  • Do you host my website or store my content?

    Fine Mess Studios does not currently offer website or mobile app hosting. Your hosting provider (Squarespace, Shopify, eHost, etc.) will be hosting your website and the hosting will depend on your website needs. We will store the content (photos, videos, text, ect.) needed to create your website and only keep your content as well as passwords for the duration of your project. If our working relationship is terminated, we will pass along the content that you own. Any content, graphics, or images created by Fine Mess Studios is copyrighted and owned by Find Mess Studios and will not be turned over for use by another company due to copyrights.
